API Access Keys

Auxin provides a combination of API access keys and tokens that clients and client applications
use to access the Auxin API.

Use the Auxin Console to create API access key IDs and secret access keys.

Use the Auxin API to create temporary access (bearer) tokens, which clients use in API calls.

API calls made using the bearer token behave as if they are issued by the user to whom the API
key is assigned.

User roles

User roles in Auxin include organization admin, app admin, full team member, and read-only
member.

Step 1: Accessing User Management

To assign roles to users, administrators access the Assign User Role section of the
AlphaScale platform.

Step 3: Assigning a Role

After selecting the user, administrators can choose the appropriate role from the list of built-in roles available. Once the role is selected, the user will be granted the corresponding permissions associated with that role.

User invitation

Auxin’s user invitation feature enables administrators to invite new users to join the organization or specific applications, specifying their role and access privileges. Invited users receive email invitations with instructions to create their account and access designated resources, streamlining onboarding and ensuring secure access.

Upgrading User Roles

By upgrading user roles, administrators can provide users with enhanced permissions and responsibilities based on their needs and contributions. This feature allows for fine-grained control over user access levels, empowering individuals to take on more significant roles and responsibilities within the Auxin ecosystem.

Remove user

In Auxin, administrators can remove users from the organization or specific applications, revoking their access and privileges. This feature enables efficient user management, ensuring secure access control and proper handling of user permissions within Auxin.

Account Deactivation

When a user account is flagged for deactivation, the system administrator or an automated process sets the is_deactivated flag to true in the user’s database record. Once deactivated, the user will not be able to log in until their account has been reactivated.

API Key

Users can manage their API keys through the user settings. API keys are unique identifiers that users can generate and use to authenticate and interact with the Auxin API. By accessing the user settings, users can create, view, revoke, and manage their API keys, ensuring secure and controlled access to the Auxin API for their applications or integrations. This feature allows users to have granular control over their API keys and maintain the security of their interactions with the Auxin platform.

Subscription

Users can manage their subscription settings through the user settings. This feature allows users to view and modify their subscription details, such as plan type, billing information, and renewal preferences.
