1. Cloud Inventory
Access the Cloud Providers Section
Once logged in, you’ll find a navigation menu. Look for the “Cloud” tab and click on it. This section allows
you to manage and monitor various cloud service providers like AWS, Azure, GCP, Alibaba, Digital Ocean,
etc.
Connect Cloud Providers
In the Cloud Providers section, you will see Inventory Name, Cloud Account ID, Resource Type, and
Resource ARN options. This will provide you with information about the service you’re using.
1.1. Manage Cloud Inventory
Once your cloud provider accounts are successfully connected, you’ll see the button for the Cloud
Inventory Management page. This section provides an overview of the resources and services within
your cloud environments.
Perform CRUD Operations
In Cloud Inventory Management, you can perform CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) operations on
your cloud resources. You can view details, create new resources, modify existing ones, and delete
resources when necessary.
Export Results
You can export the results if you want to extract and analyze the inventory data outside of AlphaScale.
AlphaScale allows you to export the inventory data either in CSV files or PDF format, making it easier to
share and work with the information.
Monitor and Analyze
Utilize Cloud Inventory Management to monitor your cloud resources’ health and status regularly. You
can track resource usage, identify potential misconfigurations, and take necessary actions to optimize
and secure your cloud infrastructure.
AI Assistance
AI assistance in the context of AlphaScale’s cloud security platform offers valuable support by providing
remedies, prevention methods, and brief explanations for the inventory findings. This AI-driven feature
is designed to enhance the user experience and help organizations effectively address security
vulnerabilities and risks identified in their cloud environments.
AI assistance offers contextual guidance, taking into account your specific cloud environment and
configurations. The recommendations provided are customized to your cloud setup, ensuring that the
remedies and prevention methods are relevant and actionable.
2. Cloud Logs
In the Cloud Logs section, you will see Cloud Log Analysis Management alongside major cloud providers.
2.2 Cloud Log Analysis Management
In Cloud Log Analysis Management, you can perform CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) operations on
your cloud resources. You can view details, create new resources, modify existing ones, and delete
resources when necessary.
2.3 Configure Account
Configuring Cloud Log in AlphaScale involves several steps, including providing basic information,
choosing platforms, and selecting category information based on your chosen cloud provider.
Access Cloud Log Configuration
After logging in, navigate to the Cloud Log Configuration section. This is where you can set up and
manage the configuration for cloud log monitoring.
Provide Basic Information
In the New Profile creation form, you will need to provide basic information such as the Profile Name
and Profile Description. Choose a descriptive name and description to identify the log profile’s purpose
easily.
Choose Cloud Platforms
Next, you’ll need to select the cloud platforms you want to monitor logs for. AlphaScale supports various
cloud providers such as Azure, GCP, and AWS. Check the boxes for the platforms you want to configure
log monitoring for.
Select Categories
Based on the cloud platforms you chose in the previous step, you will be presented with different log
categories available for each provider. Log categories are specific types of log data that can be
monitored.
Cloud Compliance
3.1 Cloud Compliance Management
In Cloud Compliance Management, you can perform CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) operations on
your cloud resources. You can view details, create new resources, modify existing ones, and delete
resources when necessary.
3.2 Cloud Inventory Configuration
After logging in, navigate to the Cloud Inventory Configuration section. This is where you can set up and
manage the configuration for cloud inventory monitoring.
Provide Basic Information
In the New Profile creation form, you will need to provide basic information such as the Inventory Name

profile’s purpose.
